We’ve been wearing Leder 6 and 20/20 from J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin for quite some time now. These were sent to us together with the full sample set, thanks to the generosity of the brand. And the simple truth is this: after all this time, we’re still enjoying the two very much. That already says a lot.

First things first:

Both perfumes are extremely well blended. Everything feels exactly how it should. That is why they have stay in the “rotation mode” That alone is usually the best test.

They’re also fully unisex, with strong performance across the board. Longevity and projection are not an issue with either one.

About the bottles (briefly)

The bottles mix old and new in an interesting way. A bit classic, a bit modern. They look solid and serious. You can see it in the photos we made. But bottles don’t matter much once you spray the perfume. The smell is the whole point.

That said, bottles are just containers. What matters is what’s inside.

Leder 6. The stranger of the two

Leder 6 is the one that feels less expected. It smells smoky and creamy at the same time. There’s leather, but it’s smooth, not sharp. A little sweetness, some spice, and a soft, milky feel that keeps it from going harsh. The smoke is always there, but it doesn’t suffocate. This is the one we reach for when we want something different but still wearable. Kinda “Avant-Garde”

It stays on skin for hours and doesn’t sit quietly. We don’t use it in hot weather tho. Not because it fails there, but because it becomes heavy fast. Cooler days suit it much better.

Gender-wise, it really doesn’t lean anywhere. It just sits on skin and does its thing.

20/20 — louder, more familiar, still addictive

20/20 goes straight for rose and patchouli.

Yes, that combination exists everywhere. But this version feels different (hard to explain). The rose is big, bright, and juicy, almost sparkling. It fills the space quickly and stays present for a long time.

It’s loud. No way around it. But it’s also clean in its direction. You know exactly what you’re smelling, and it works great.

Even though rose might suggest something more feminine on paper, this one wears easily on anyone. We’ve worn it all year, in all situations, without hesitation. It lasts. People notice it. End of story.

Why they’re still here

After all this time, both bottles are still used. That doesn’t happen often with perfume collections.

Leder 6 is the more unusual one.
20/20 is easier, louder, and more immediate. Both have held up extremely well over time.

We’ll keep wearing them, and we’ll definitely spend more time with the samples too. A few of them already feel like they could be a signature scent worthy. We’ll see about it 🙂

If you’ve tried Leder 6, 20/20, or anything else from J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin, let us know.

Living fully, lightly scented.

Thanks for reading. See you in the next one.
