The Heart: The middle stage lists apple and ylang-ylang, though these notes play a more subdued role. In our experience, the apple note was nearly imperceptible, and the ylang-ylang was faint but detectable to Maruša’s nose. The rose remains the dominant player, supported by the floral richness of the composition.
The Base: From the middle stages onward, patchouli takes a key role. The introduction of musk and sandalwood leads to a creamy, clean dry-down. There’s a luxurious, soapy quality that feels refined and expensive and creates a smooth, lasting finish that stays close to the skin.
