Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi: The Fig Fantasy

If the Amalfi Coast smells like this, then we’ve been living in the wrong country—at least during summer. But let’s not get carried away and focus on the real star here: Acqua di Parma’s Fico di Amalfi, a fragrance that surprised us in the best way possible.

For Maruša, it was a revelation. She’d been on a mission to find the perfect fresh and invigorating fig scent. Her journey started with Annick Goutal’s Ninfeo Mio, a lovely fragrance that made her realize just how much she adored fig. We dived into samples of the famous Philosykos by Diptyque and the bold Pulp by Byredo, but neither hit the mark. That’s when it clicked—it wasn’t the fig fruit she craved, but the green, airy magic of fig leaves.

For us, Fico di Amalfi is the perfect escape—a fig-laced daydream that transports you straight to Italy’s sun-soaked coastline 🌿☀️

Enter Fico di Amalfi. One sniff, and it was love. Better than Ninfeo Mio, though admittedly lighter in performance. But with a generous 150ml bottle, you can spray away without hesitation. Moderation? Not when a scent like this exists (seriously, who even says that?).

From the first spray, you’re hit with a refreshing wave of citrus and fig leaves, a crisp and vibrant combo that’s pure summer bliss. As it settles, soft peppery jasmine and delicate hints of cedar emerge, creating a harmonious dry-down that lingers beautifully. We’re just going to pretend this is what the Amalfi Coast smells like and seriously reconsider our summer plans. Slovenia is great, but for a few months, maybe we need to live life the Fico di Amalfi way.
