Let’s just start simple.
It’s been a while since we came across a perfume whose main purpose is to quietly take you somewhere. Even to a place you’ve never been. This one takes you straight to Florida. That’s exactly what happened when we first sprayed Florida Vibrations from Sulékó.
Sulékó is the house of Anastasia Sokolow. French, based in Paris, but with a deep, personal love for Florida that goes back more than thirty years. She’s been visiting the place since childhood, exploring the wilder corners most people never see. During the quieter years of the pandemic she realised how much those landscapes meant to her, the green hammocks, the springs, the rivers, the salty edges of the beaches. So she decided to bottle that feeling. The result is Florida Vibrations.
The Bottle:
Before we even talk about the scent, the cap will amaze you.
Each one is a little sculpture made by French ceramicist Maxime Defer. He works with an old technique called Terra Sigillata, and every piece is unique, signed and numbered by hand. The cap is part of that same artisan work. It feels special in the hand, like something made with care rather than produced in a factory. The colors in the cap will have slight variations in tone depending on the available light. It’s very interesting to see.
You can tell someone with real skill made this.
How It Smells:
The first moments are bright and humid at the same time. A burst of citruses, petitgrain and galbanum is quite apparent. It feels like the air after a warm rain in the middle of a damp forest meets the warm white sand beach breeze. Fresh, alive, a little sharp.
After this amazing opening, the heart opens up. Some florals come through, soft and a bit creamy, mixed with neroli. There’s a salty sea-water note that never turns into a typical aquatic fragrance. That foresty aura always sits quietly in the background. It never gets loud or synthetic. It just feels like you’re walking through those green, wet places Anastasia talks about and that warm paradise beach breeze we mentioned before.
The drydown settles into something softer and earthier. Vetiver, a little patchouli and moss. The whole thing stays fresh and vibrant at all times! It’s the kind of scent that feels alive on skin and never gets pushy.
Who Is It For?
Unisex through and through. It doesn’t lean hard in any direction. Summer is where it shines the most! That fresh, green, slightly salty energy just belongs to warm days. But it’s versatile enough that we can see people wearing and enjoying it on cooler evenings too, or any time they want a little mental escape. Longevity is solid. On our skin it stayed present for a good while without needing reapplication. Projection is friendly. A nice sillage is guaranteed.
Any Downsides?
Honestly, not. If you prefer something heavy, sweet, or very animalic, this won’t be your thing. It’s more about air and light and green spaces than about intensity. That’s the only real note we can think of, and even that depends completely on what you’re looking for.
Final Thoughts
Florida Vibrations feels like an invitation. Put it on, and for a few hours you’re not quite where you were. You’re somewhere warmer, greener, a little wilder. It’s a perfume that makes you breathe deeper. A beautiful creation.
