First impressions of RBM and Xtasy from Collection X
We’ve just received two brand-new releases from Alendor, a perfume house based in Germany, and these two honestly surprised us—in a good way. Not because they try to be loud in the usual way, but because they feel thought through, calm in confidence, and clearly made with time and care.
The new line is called Collection X, and it already feels like a clean break from Alendor’s earlier Seductive collection. New bottle badges, new boxes, new direction. Everything looks sharper, heavier as usual, and more collectible. These are bottles you don’t hide in a drawer.
But let’s talk about the actual scents—because that’s what matters most.
RBM – cold, sharp, and quietly addictive

RBM opens with something almost cold to the touch. There’s a metallic feel at the start, mixed with saffron, some sweetness, and it immediately sets a serious tone. This is not a playful scent. It smells clean, modern, and a bit strict—like freshly cut metal in a well-designed space.
As it settles, RBM turns greener and more grounded. Fir needle and rosemary are listed in the notes and they clearly bring in a forest-like feeling, but not in a cozy way. More like walking through pine trees early in the morning, when the air is still sharp. At this stage, there is still a metallic aura.
Later on, it warms up on the skin. Leather shows up, along with woods and something that does smell like skin. Not in a loud way. More like closeness. RBM feels confident without trying to impress anyone.
How it feels to wear:
- Clean but not boring
- Strong presence without shouting
- Works on anyone, any style
- Definitely unisex
This is the kind of perfume that will grow on you the more you wear it.
Xtasy – darker, warmer, and smoother

Xtasy goes in the opposite direction.
From the first spray, there is a blast of comfort. Cardamom and the cocoa butter are giants at this stage. It is sweet but not sugary. Just deliciously rounded.
As it dries down, Xtasy becomes deeper. There’s a powdery softness from orris, a darker edge from oud, and a gentle sweetness from tonka bean. Everything stays balanced. Nothing feels heavy or overdone.
How it feels to wear:
- Warm, smooth, and inviting
- Easy to like, hard to forget
- Perfect for evenings but still wearable during the day
- Also fully unisex
Xtasy seems like a relaxed experience. But you will be noticed.
A clear step forward for Alendor
What stands out with these two releases isn’t just the smell—it’s the feeling that Alendor took their time. You can sense experienced hands behind the scenes. Nothing feels rushed. RBM and Xtasy are very different from each other, yet they clearly belong to the same family.
Both are:
- Unisex
- Strong in performance
- Noticeable, even bold
- Versatile enough for real life
They’re just well made.
First impressions, not final words
This is only a first look. We’ve worn them briefly, tested a few sprays, lived with them for a short time. So far, the impression is very positive—but we want to spend proper time with each one.
Each perfume deserves its own space, its own story, and its own long-term test. That’s coming soon, in separate, more detailed posts.
For now, what matters is simple:
The wait was worth it. Alendor’s Collection X feels like a fresh start—and a confident one.
If you enjoy perfumes that don’t try too hard but still leave an impression, these two are worth keeping an eye on.
More soon.
